GTM Analytics Engineer
Own the GTM data layer and build AI-ready analytics at a fast-growing SaaS, turning trusted data into business insight. Hybrid Barcelona, high autonomy.
About the company
International B2B SaaS scale-up in full growth mode. Its platform is used by thousands of customers in the private capital space (venture capital, private equity, growth equity) around the world, including some of the most recognised names in the industry. The company is profitable and expanding, and has just opened a product, data and engineering hub in Barcelona, working closely with the teams in North America, with plans to keep growing throughout the year.
The role
As GTM Analytics Engineer, you will own the Go-To-Market data layer (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success and Finance), designing and maintaining the models and pipelines that let the rest of the organisation work with reliable, well-structured data. This is an individual contributor (IC) role, with no team management, and a high degree of autonomy.
You will be part of a particularly exciting project: building an "AI insights" layer that lets business users ask questions about GTM data in natural language and get trusted answers back, instead of relying on static dashboards. You will work with dbt, Salesforce and AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor and Claude, on top of a data foundation that already follows strong engineering practices, so you can focus from day one on adding value rather than rebuilding from scratch.
What you'll do
Design, model and maintain the GTM data architecture (Business Dimensional Model) in dbt, with version control, automated testing and CI/CD.
Build reusable semantic layers with standardised metric definitions and business logic.
Design AI-ready data models and integrate the data warehouse with AI tools to enable natural-language analytics.
Define data quality controls and governance, and support analysts and stakeholders across Sales, Marketing and RevOps.
What we're looking for
5-7 years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering.
Strong experience with dbt, SQL and cloud data warehousing (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
Experience working with Salesforce data (objects, SOQL, integrations).
Regular use of AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Claude or other LLMs).
Good level of English and strong communication with business teams.
We also welcome Data Engineers with a very solid technical base who want to specialise in business analytics.
What we offer
Competitive salary band: up to €70,000 gross per year + equity.
Hybrid model in Barcelona, with flexibility to choose office days.
100% covered medical insurance (includes life and disability), with dental and mental health coverage.
Extended maternity/paternity leave, with specialised support for fertility, adoption and parenting.
23 vacation days + 13 public holidays, wellness, transport, meal and internet/phone allowances, plus a learning and development budget.
The chance to build, on top of an already solid foundation, the data layer that will make AI a central part of how the business makes decisions.
Interview process
Agile 4-stage process, with direct feedback at each step.
