DevOps Engineer
Seeking a Senior/Staff DevOps Engineer for high-scale real-time systems
At Q-Tech, we are looking for a Senior/Staff DevOps Engineer to join an innovative tech company that is building cutting-edge solutions for a high-demand industry. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-scale environments and is eager to take full ownership of infrastructure design and automation
What You’ll Do:
- Design, build, and maintain a scalable, high-performance infrastructure that processes millions of data points in real-time
- Develop and implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments and optimize system reliability
- Automate cloud and on-premise infrastructure using Terraform, Kubernetes, and containerized environments
- Work closely with software and data engineering teams to enhance performance and scalability
- Ensure high availability and security, implementing best practices for monitoring, logging, and incident response
- Have full autonomy to propose and execute solutions, with no unnecessary bureaucracy slowing you down
Tech Stack:
- Cloud: AWS & Azure
- Infrastructure as Code: Terraform
- CI/CD: Jenkins, GitLab CI
- Containers & Orchestration: Kubernetes, Docker
- Scripting & Automation: Python, Bash
- Big Data & Event-Driven Architectures (highly valued): Apache Iceberg, Hadoop
Who You Are:
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud, or Infrastructure Engineering
- Proven experience building and managing high-performance, real-time architectures
- Strong expertise in Kubernetes, Terraform, and automation pipelines
- Previous experience in high-scale environments where reliability and performance are key
- Ability to work independently, make decisions, and drive technical solutions without micromanagement
- Previous exposure to Big Data pipelines is a big plus
